The NPSL Northwest Conference is not going to happen in our beautiful northwest this summer. Players and coaches never stopped to dream the COVID-19 would have not blocked our area for one more season. Clubs, players, and people needed it but unfortunately, the virus had the priority. Coach Murillo is waiting for his opportunity to lead OSA Seattle FC since summer 2020. His staff will have to wait for one more season to show what they can bring to the table.

What were the goals for the season?“Contribute to the growth of OSA and provide a competitive, ambitious, and fun environment for our OSA players”.

What are your personal goals as a coach for the future?
“Continue to gain experience, and grow and evolve”.

Why do you think tryouts are a huge opportunity for players?
“Tryouts are a great opportunity to showcase one’s ability. It’s an opportunity to make the most out of a chance. It’s also important to showcase your personality because there are many traits that will form a quality team”.

Which qualities are you looking for in your recruiting?
“Of course, every coach is looking for the complete package, but work ethic to me stands out the most. Being technically and tactically sound are very important.

The official statement from NPSL on our conference arrived two days ago. That’s why OSA Seattle FC is working for creating a new opportunity. So, plan B is in progress with a tournament between teams around the area. The urge to give the chance to our young athletes to develop their abilities won’t stop our commitment and our ambitions”.

STAY TUNED FOR NEW UPDATES, SUMMER IS COMING SOON !!!
