PAUL ROTHROCK – ROUND 3 – PICK 64

Paul, congratulations for your past season and this huge achievement from OSA FC. How did it feel win the D1 Championship Final and be drafted a year later?
“Thank you! It’s been without a doubt the wildest two years of my soccer career. I feel very grateful with where I’m at right now and it was an unexpected blessing to get drafted by Toronto FC during the pandemic. The 2019 National Championship was probably the best day of my life and I’m just glad it happened when it did”.

It’ll be interesting to see your future successes. We’ll cheer you. You are officially the 5 th OSA player being drafted so far, how do you think the experience with the club helped your growth as a player?

Paul Rothrock Osa“OSA was a fantastic opportunity for me to have prior to the 2019 National Championship season. I got good coaching, game experience, and it reminded me why I’m passionate for the game. It was also a great way to meet other top players from the area and all over the world”.

Do you think it is a good opportunity for players to join OSA FC through our tryouts?
“Definitely. I’d love to play with OSA again if I could. I don’t think I’d be where I am today without my summer training with OSA”.

What is your best memory with OSA FC?
“My favorite memories with OSA were either trainings or the time I spent with my teammates off the field. Once, I hosted the team for an afternoon on my boat around Seattle’s lake. That was memorable. Then, Filippo Milano and Giuseppe Pezzano create such a great atmosphere that’s infectious with the rest of the group and as a result I had a lot of good times with the team”.

Thank you very much for being such a good teammate. We loved your skills and your dedication. It was a pleasure for us having you as a player.
“Thank you Vitto. I hope to play again with you soon, and FORZA OSA!”
