About a month ago, coach Hugo Perez from El Salvador’s national team asked him to join ‘La selecta’ and Alex Roldan has already paid back the trust. He made his debut last Sunday, July 11 during the first match of the CONCACAF Gold Cup against Guatemala. Alex was subbed in at the ‘64 and scored a goal only seventeen minutes later. The match ended 2-0 for El Salvador.
OSA community is not surprised about the quality of the player. He has shown to be ready to play professionally during the summer 2016. We are happy that Alex wore our jersey, he is showing to improve every year and he is using every opportunity at the best.
Will Europe be a destination in the future? In the meantime, let’s enjoy this incredible moment. It’s a matter of pride for OSA to see our alumni playing for a national team. We wish the best of luck and congratulations from OSA Seattle FC to Alex Roldan.
